XMFC/The ghost of Christmas future
Feb. 1st, 2015 10:08 pmOnce more, Charles cannot sleep. Ever since Erik left him, sleep has not come easily, and some nights it doesn't come at all. The bed feels too huge, and far too cold, without his lover's presence.
Ex-lover, now.
The drug that hums in Charles' veins reminds him why he has given away his relationship, and the lack of telepathy definitely makes the break up easier - at least there is no way he can try and listen in to Erik's mind, now. He knows that he wants to walk, so much more than pretty much anything else, but having that doesn't make his heart hurt less for the man who had once been his fiancé.
He lies awake in the dark, staring at the ceiling, caught between a rock and a hard place.
